Mr. Peter R. J. Mills has been involved in the energy management industry for over 25 years and has delivered energy management projects to over 300,000 multi-residential suites across Canada. He co-founded the privately held Stratacon Inc. in 1997 that was acquired in 2008.
In 2011, he launched MultiLogic Energy Solutions Inc. to deliver cost effective energy efficiency solutions for the multi-residential sector across Canada. Prior to his work in the private sector, Peter worked with Ontario Hydro for ten years in a variety of executive positions. Peter is a member of the Federation of Rental Housing Providers of Ontario and the Greater Toronto Apartment Association. He is also a member of Interval House’s Ambassadors Council.
Ian D. Stewart
Executive Chair
Mr. Ian D. Stewart co-founded Stratacon Inc. and has delivered energy management projects to over 250,000 multi-residential suites across Canada. In 2008, Mr. Stewart led a team of investment bankers from Genuity and Solaris in the sale of Stratacon Inc.
Ian has presented White Papers to Ministry of Housing and Social Services, Ministry of Energy and The Ontario Energy Board on Smart Submetering policy. Ian is a member of the Smart Submetering Working Group, AMRA (Automated Meter Reading Association), ACMO (Association of Condominium Management of Ontario) and FRPO (The Federation of Rental Housing Providers of Ontario).
Richard Belfer
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Richard Belfer is a finance executive with experience growing and developing businesses of different sizes and stages.
Richard recently held the position of Vice President, Finance at Pfaff Automotive Partners,
a privately held high growth business where he was responsible for the finance, accounting,
treasury and other central functions of the company. Prior to Pfaff, Richard was the VP, Finance at Mueller Water Products,
a New York Stock Exchange listed public company. At Mueller, Richard was head of finance for the international group of technology companies.
His career started in professional services at PwC and worked in both the Assurance and Corporate Advisory and Restructuring groups in Canada
and Australia across a wide range of industries.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University, a Master of Business Administration from McMaster University and studied International Management
and Economics at Copenhagen Business School. He also holds CPA and CA designations.
Louie Papanicolopoulos
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Louie Papanicolopoulos leads Wyse’s client relationship programs across Canada by supporting developers, owners, and property managers in achieving their goals.
Mr. Papanicolopoulos boasts extensive management experience in sales, service and consumer finance, as well as a proven ability to build new business lines in competitive markets. Prior to Wyse, he served as Director, UEI Financial, Dealer Programs and Property Management Division of Reliance Home Comfort where he grew the company’s rental and financial programs by maintaining existing and cultivating new relationships with dealers, distributors, and manufacturers.
He earned an honours bachelor’s degree in political science and business administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Michael Brillinger
Vice President of Operations
Michael Brillinger defines and implements operations strategy, structure, and processes, while overseeing the day-to-day operations for Wyse.
Michael served at Air Liquide in senior roles involving industrial operations, strategy, product management, and marketing, in locations around the world, including Singapore, China, South Korea, and Canada. Prior to Wyse, he was a Special Project Manager-Healthcare Operations with VitalAire Canada, where he oversaw the asset management teams and the national medical device service centre. Prior to Air Liquide, he had served in various roles within large MNCs such as Siemens, Heinz and Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance.
He holds an MBA in International Business & Marketing from McGill University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. In addition, he is an IASSC certified Green Belt and has been certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.
Colin Griffis
Vice President, Operations
Mr. Colin Griffis' career includes senior positions in engineering involving design of heavy equipment, sales and service of electrical power generation systems,
and manufacturing and distribution of consumer goods. Prior to joining Wyse, he provided consulting services to support clients with company start-ups,
growth strategies, and operational excellence objectives. Colin is a professional engineer with an MBA and has extensive experience in Lean and Six Sigma
improvement methodologies. Colin has served as a Municipal Councillor as well as volunteered on numerous community boards and events over the years.
Malvina Sternak
Senior In-house Counsel
Ms. Malvina Sternak is the Senior In-house Counsel for Wyse Meter Solutions Inc. where she directs all aspects of Utility Service Agreements with property managers, condominium developers and residents (multi-residential rental, commercial, condominium and new construction).
Malvina has been involved in working directly with the Ontario Energy Board and other regulatory bodies with respect to compliance matters and oversees Wyse's Conditions of Service and Unit Sub-Metering Licence with the Board. She has been with Wyse for five years and provides research and legal advice with respect to energy law (provincial and federal), general corporate law and employment/labour law. Wyse's operations, billing and sales teams rely on her expert counsel.
Paul Elliot
Vice President of Billing and Customer Service
Mr. Paul Elliott leads all efforts related to the development and execution of Wyse’s billing, regulatory and customer service programs. He also ensures Wyse’s standards continue to exceed customer expectations.
Paul has over thirty years of utility industry experience with provincial, municipal and private corporations. Previously he served as Director, Billing Systems and Regulations for a national submetering provider. Prior to joining the submetering industry, he held senior roles at a municipal electricity company where he led the utility conversation program, customer service program and smart meter project team. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Toronto.
Vinicius Vilhena
Director, Business Development
Vinicius Vilhena leads Wyse’s new product and service development with an eye toward driving value for developers, owners, and property managers.
Mr. Vilhena has a diverse background (including management consulting, corporate development, and investment banking roles) and extensive experience in finance and energy. Prior to Wyse, he worked at BMO Capital Markets in the Power, Utilities and Infrastructure group, supporting clients with due diligence efforts, financial modeling and investment analysis. Prior to BMO, Vinicius was the M&A and Funding Manager for Omega Energia. At Omega, he was responsible for analyzing new greenfield and brownfield investments in renewable power assets and led the valuation team throughout the company’s IPO process in 2017.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) and an MBA with distinction from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
Drago Farsang
Chief Information Officer
Drago Farsang leads the direction, development and implementation of digital technology strategies for Wyse.
Mr. Farsang boasts an outstanding history championing innovative strategies in the automotive, retail, and financial sectors. His proven strengths include strategic management; organizational review; and technological innovation that ensures companies are both highly secure and capable of growth and transformation. He drives high-impact projects that yield greater technical/intellectual capital, risk-minded progress, and significant return on investment.
Prior to Wyse, Mr. Farsang was Vice President, Information Technology for Pfaff Automotive Partners, where he led IT strategy towards transforming and improving the company’s technology infrastructure.
He earned a Master of Science, Executive Master in Technology Management degree from the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.
